Giants running back Saquon Barkley is injured again and as anyone would expect, he’s not happy about it.
He spoke to Tom Rock of Newsday on Thursday afternoon and admitted that he was frustrated and exhausted after this latest setback.
Saquon Barkley said he was frustrated, exhausted and angry after turning his ankle in Dallas. Did not want to get on the cart bc last time he did that his season was over. Admitted to some “Why me?” moments.
Now he is focused on coming back.

Barkley suffered a sprained ankle against the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday and didn’t return to the game. He’s expected to miss the Giants Week 6 game against the Los Angeles Rams this Sunday.
This will be Barkley’s 18th miss game due to injury over the last 3 seasons. He had to miss most of last season after tearing his ACL as he only finished with 34 yards rushing on 19 carries.
So far this season, Barkley has 54 carries for 195 yards and 2 touchdowns as he’s looking to get back to being one of the best backs in football.
He had back-to-back 1,000 yards rushing seasons before the ACL injury and his career-high is 1,307 rushing yards in 2018.
