How good has Ohio State been? So good that even one of its harshest critics is finally giving the team some credit.

After the Buckeyes blasted Nebraska in a 48-7 decision on Saturday, known OSU critic Mark May had no choice but to give the team some credit. May, who formerly worked at ESPN as a college football analyst, has always been one to throw shade at Ohio State.

On Saturday night, though, he admitted that the Buckeyes are the best team in the country. You could tell it was painful for him to admit.

Below is the video of May admitting the Buckeyes are No. 1 in the country on ABC 15 in Arizona:

Ohio State fans are going to favorite that video and bring it up anytime May says something negative about the Buckeyes from now until eternity.

But it’s hard to deny. The Buckeyes are 5-0 this season and have thumped every team on their schedule. And if they continue to play the way they have through five weeks, they’ll thump plenty more, too.

Be wary, though, Ohio State fans. If the Buckeyes slip up, May will be the first one to roast the program.
