Scary moment in Georgia-Auburn game results in photographer leaving field on stretcher

On-field photographers face some unique job hazards.
It is not unusual to see photographers at sporting events take some hard hits. Whether it be a basketball player diving for a ball or a football player running out of bounds, it can be dangerous being up close to the action.
Unfortunately, that resulted in a very scary incident out of the Georgia-Auburn game on Saturday. During the action, one Georgia player was forced out of bounds and his momentum carried him into a photographer.
It appeared that the photographer was hit in the face by the leg of the player, and the CBS broadcast indicated the hit knocked out the photographer. Fortunately, she was conscious and responsive as she left the field on a stretcher.
