It was bad enough.
Ohio State destroyed Michigan 62-39 on Saturday and QB Dwayne Haskins broke numerous records in the victory. He was set for having thrown for just over 300 yards and 5 TD against what was the top-ranked defense in the country.
However, as of Sunday, those numbers changed for the better if you’re a Buckeye fan:
We are going to correct this play from yesterday to reflect it as a 78-yard TD pass from @dh_simba7 to @PCampbell21. Haskins thus throws for 396 and 6 TDs and Campbell has 6 receptions for 192 yards and 2 TDs. pic.twitter.com/NGpITN30iI

The 78-yard run from Parris Campbell no longer counts as a rushing attempt for the speedy Buckeye WR. It’s now a 78-yard TD pass from Haskins to Campbell.
Now, let’s take a look at Haskins’ final stat-line against the Wolverines: 20-of-31 for 396 yards and 6 TD.
What does that mean exactly?
Watch: Scoring change makes Dwayne Haskins' huge day against Michigan even bigger, now has records for most yards (396) and TDs (6) than any other OSU QB vs. Michigan https://t.co/Ewtu57gZhu pic.twitter.com/mnsU7J2uVW

As Steve Helwagen of 247Sports tweeted, Haskins’ day made a difference in the history books. Now, the sophomore gunslinger has totals of 4,081 yards and 42 TD through the air. Both are single-season records in the Big Ten.
Tua Tagovailoa at Alabama and Kyler Murray at Oklahoma have had great seasons, but with Haskins setting B1G records left and right, a Heisman Trophy could be coming his way.
