Nebraska is in the win column, the Huskers are here to celebrate.
Here’s how coach Scott Frost greeted his team in the locker room after their 30-23 victory against Penn State:
“The state needed it.
The team needed it.
I needed it.” – @coach_frost pic.twitter.com/iUzxwI0DBY— Nebraska Football (@HuskerFootball) November 14, 2020
This was a much-needed with for Nebraska. The Huskers were in danger of falling to 0-3 on the season and to 9-18 in Frost’s Nebraska tenure.
Instead, Nebraska gets some momentum before facing Illinois in Week 5 — another winnable game.
Nebraska is now 10-8 all-time against Penn State and 4-1 in this series since the Huskers joined the Big Ten.
Nebraska and Illinois will kick off at 12 p.m. ET next Saturday as the Huskers look to move to .500.
