Nebraska couldn’t get it done against Northwestern Saturday. There were plenty of reasons the Wildcats were the better team in Week 0, but Nebraska head coach Scott Frost did his squad no favors calling an onside kick with an 11-point lead.

And he knows it. If he could reverse time and do it again, he wouldn’t play it as risky.

Nebraska led 28-17 when Frost decided to go for an onside kick. Were the Huskers to recover, it likely would have put the game. Instead, Northwestern recovered, marched down the field for the score and took the lead a few moments later.

Northwestern held on to win, 31-28.
