Nebraska got in the win column on Saturday against North Dakota 38-17 to improve to 1-1 on the year. The win was pretty ugly though as the Fighting Hawks kept it close for much of the game.

Head coach Scott Frost stepped to the podium postgame which is always a must-watch to see what the head man of the Huskers is going to say.

Here’s what he had to say about the ugly home-opening win against the Fighting Hawks.

Frost does still believe his team has a chance to be great. Unfortunately, Frost is on borrowed time to prove it with one more tune-up against Georgia Southern before rival No. 9 Oklahoma visits Lincoln for the first time in over a decade.

The Huskers will have to prove it to the fans quickly this September after a season-opening loss across the pond to B1G West opponent Northwestern. The Husker faithful have stayed strong during the Frost era but patience is wearing thin in the sea of red.
