Scott Van Pelt gives alma mater Maryland logo advice for football, basketball uniforms

Scott Van Pelt has some suggestions for his alma mater’s football and basketball uniforms.
The FOX College Hoops Twitter account recently tweeted about Maryland’s logos, and got the attention of Van Pelt, a university alumnus. The ESPN “SportsCenter” host would like to see his school focus on its unique mascot instead of using an “M” logo.
All you have to do is give people what they want. Terps script on helmets for football.
For hoops, there are a bunch of superior options: the old school turtle on the M, or the flag on top of the M from the title team.
Lots of M schools. One Terps school. This isn’t tricky.

Speak on it SVP. The unofficial mayor of all things Maryland has spoken, so let it be written, so let it be done.

@notthefakeSVP with his Terps Wisdom, give the people what they want…… can we go back to just the alternate throwback uniforms full time? I wore the white helmet with script Terps but that Red Helmet is FIRE!! https://t.co/fMoV8yhQaW
