Since Seattle drafted Russell Wilson, the former Wisconsin QB has been the main source of production in the Seahawks offense.

Seattle long leaned on its defense, but many feel the team will be more about offense with Wilson entering his prime coming off a career-high 34 touchdowns last season.

Teammate Doug Baldwin says Wilson looks better than ever in training camp.

“Well, the biggest thing is I think Russell’s better,” the wideout told Michael Dugar of The Athletic. “This is the best I’ve seen Russ since he’s been here. I’m really excited and happy for his progress, because obviously that makes us a lot better. It makes it easier on us.”

Baldwin credits Wilson’s improvement to coaching from new offensive coordinator Brain Schottenheimer. He noted that Schottenheimer has “drilled” Wilson on how to dissect opposing defenses.

It’s interesting to note that Baldwin has a different perspective than usual on his quarterback. Baldwin is dealing with a knee injury, meaning his observations of Wilson’s are come from the sideline instead of catching his passes.
