Second member of Ohio State’s 2022 recruiting class, 4-star LB, receives MVP honors at Rivals100

Another future Buckeye has earned a prestigious honor over the weekend.
On Sunday, Rivals100 announced that 4-star OLB Gabe Powers has been named the Linebacker MVP. This weekend’s camp was held in Indianapolis.
Powers is also invited to the Five-Star Challenge for his performance:

Powers is an in-state commit for the Buckeyes via the class of 2022 out of Marysville, Ohio. According to the 247 Sports Composite Rankings, Powers is the No. 2 prospect out of Ohio and the No. 3 OLB nationally for the cycle. He is also rated as a top-50 recruit nationally.
Powers was not the only Ohio State commit to be honored this weekend at Rivals100. 4-star offensive lineman Tegra Tshabola was also honored as the Offensive Line MVP in Indy.
Both players are currently committed as a part of Ohio State’s impressive 2022 recruiting class. Both Tshabola and Powers are rated as top-200 prospects nationally with the Buckeyes boasting eight such commits at this time.
