Purdue football is ramping up its momentum and wide receiver Charlie Jones is one of the biggest reasons.
With a stellar game against Indiana State last weekend, Jones was aptly named one of the Reese’s Senior Bowl “Stock Up” Players of the Week.
Jones single handily established himself as a dominant factor in defeating Indiana State. He had a total of 9 receptions, 133-yards, and 3 touchdowns during the game, making him a sure-fire candidate for player of the week.

Boilermakers head coach, Jeff Brohm even had some words to say about Jones on 56-0 win over Indiana State, per Sports Illustrated writer, D.J. Fezler. A standout game and more to come for the future is a huge compliment for the transfer WR from Iowa.
“Well, he’s done a great job for us,” Brohm said of Jones. “He came here for a reason — to catch footballs and show what he can do. He’s obviously a very good returner, but he’s just very efficient.”
Congratulations to Charlie Jones. Maybe the Boilermakers can continue to reel more of this victorious energy into more games.
