Several key Buckeyes are committed to playing in Rose Bowl Game vs. Utah

Ohio State is disappointed they couldn’t capture the B1G but they’ll still have the opportunity to represent the conference in the Rose Bowl when they face the Pac-12’s Utah.
This is the time of year when athletes are faced with the decision of whether or not to participate in bowl games. It looks like Ohio State is locked in though about the task at hand.
Defensive ends Zach Harrison and Tyreke Smith and offensive lineman Thayer Munford have committed to play in the Rose Bowl:
Zach Harrison said he is still deciding whether or not he will enter the NFL draft, but he will play in the Rose Bowl regardless.

Among Ohio State seniors who have met with the media so far today, Thayer Munford and Tyreke Smith both said they will play in the Rose Bowl. Smith said it’s “very important” for him to finish his Ohio State career with a win.

Ohio State has a 10-2 overall record, with the lone losses vs. Oregon and Michigan. Ohio State won the only previous meeting vs. Utah 64-6 in 1986.
The Rose Bowl is slated for Jan. 1 (5 p.m. EST) and will be televised on ESPN.
