Shea Patterson on trip to Wisconsin: We’re looking to make a statement

Shea Patterson sounds locked in for this weekend’s tough matchup with Wisconsin.
The starting quarterback for Michigan could personally use a big game to jump-start his season. After putting up a solid line in the Week 1 win over Middle Tennessee, Patterson struggled at times in Week 2 against Army. He lost multiple fumbles in the tight win and never appeared to settle in.

Now beginning B1G play with a trip to Camp Randall Stadium, the Badgers present a tough task for the Wolverines. Securing a win will not be easy, but Patterson said the team is focused on going to Madison and making a statement.
“We’re just looking to go out there and make a statement, simple as that,” explained Patterson. When pressed with what that statement would be, Patterson did not answer and decided to move on.

In addition to his comments, Patterson also updated the status of his oblique injury and said he is healthy and good to go:

Hopefully, Patterson and the Wolverines look better than the first two weeks in their trip to Madison.
