Shea Patterson’s first run out of tunnel at Michigan Stadium ‘a dream come true’

Things went much smoother for Shea Patterson and the Wolverines in Week 2.
Michigan rolled to a 49-3 blowout of Western Michigan behind solid defense and an offense that found its groove. RB Karan Higdon had two long runs in the first half and finished with 156 yards on the ground, but it was Patterson that was one of the big stories of the game.
He completed 12-of-17 passes for 125 yards and 3 TDs, including a beautiful 44-yard strike to WR Nico Collins. While the yardage was not eye-popping, Patterson guided the offense efficiently and looked like a leader on that side of the ball.
After the game, Patterson was asked what it was like coming out of the tunnel at Michigan Stadium for the first time. He said he was smiling and called the experience “a dream come true.”

Patterson and the Wolverines will now turn their attention to taking on SMU next Saturday.
