Sherrone Moore addresses Michigan attempting to plant flag at Horseshoe after win over Ohio State

Sherrone Moore was asked about Michigan players attempting to plant a flag with the school’s logo in the middle of Ohio Stadium after a 13-10 win over Ohio State in November.
That, of course, didn’t go over well with Buckeyes players, touching off a big scuffle at midfield.
Next time will be different, Moore said on Thursday at Big Ten Media Days.
“When we win a game, go meet the band. Go sing (The Victors), and stay over there until the other team departs, and that’s how we’ll operate. Shake hands after the game, show sportsmanship, be cordial,” he said.
Moore said that no discussion between Buckeyes coach Ryan Day or Michigan administrators took place regarding the incident, adding that several players on either side of the rivalry know each other so planting flags or any similar behavior shouldn’t get in the way of usually good relationships.
“A lot of guys in college football know each other. All these guys, they’re kids at the end of the day. They’re 17-to 22-year-old kids, and most of them are friends,” he said. “A lot of them talk before the game, so let them have that. But then as a team, they’ll be together as a team and then leave as a team.”
Michigan has won four straight games in the rivalry and looks to extend the streak on Nov. 29. The Wolverines haven’t won five straight in the series since the 1920s.
