Sherrone Moore, key Michigan assistant, in ‘no rush’ to pursue head coaching gig

Sherrone Moore was asked about going after head coaching opportunities in the future. Moore revealed his stance on that at Tuesday’s Fiesta Bowl press conference.
Moore stated that while most coaches eventually try their hand as a head coach, he’s not going to be rushing into something like that. Moore wants to savor his time at Michigan for as long as possible.
“Most coaches at some point in their life want to do that,” said Moore. “When the time comes, the time comes, but I’m in no rush to leave this place, this great university, these students and coach Harbaugh.”

Moore will need to focus on beating TCU before worrying about any head coaching jobs. TCU’s defense allows 25 points per game and 385.1 total yards of offense per game. So far this season Michigan has averaged 453.5 total offensive yards per game.
Michigan and TCU face off in the Fiesta Bowl on Dec. 31 at 4 p.m. ET on ESPN.
