Sherrone Moore is Michigan’s acting head coach on Saturday while Jim Harbaugh serves a suspension. Harbaugh will miss the final 3 games of the regular season as a result of the sign-stealing allegations that have rocked the college football world.

Before Michigan’s game against Penn State, Moore was asked how the team is handling the adversity of losing their head coach.

“If you thought we had a chip on our shoulder going into this game, that chip is now boulder-sized,” Moore explained to FOX Big Noon Kickoff’s Jenny Taft.

Moore said there “is something special” about Michigan’s players, and they have been able to block out any outside noise. Michigan fans hope that is true, because this weekend will provide the first real test for the Wolverines.

The Wolverines are in Happy Valley to take on the No. 9 Penn State Nittany Lions. Moore’s squad is looking to stay perfect and return to the College Football Playoff for the 3rd season in a row.
