Sherrone Moore entered the 2023 season as an assistant coach already on the rise as a potential head coaching candidate. After leading Michigan as the interim head coach for 4 games this season, his stock continues to be at an all-time high.

Moore’s first turn as the interim coach came against Bowling Green, but it was the final three games of the regular season that really impressed. The highly regarded offensive line coach and offensive coordinator led the Wolverines to wins over Penn State and Maryland on the road before beating Ohio State in The Game.

With Moore’s stock on the rise, he will likely be linked to a number of vacancies on the coaching carousel, and another job in the B1G was added Sunday morning. That came with reports of Tom Allen being fired by Indiana.

While there is a way to go before we get to official candidates, multiple media members and fans were quick to tab Moore as a name to watch. Whether or not that comes to fruition remains to be seen.
