Iowa is getting drilled by Michigan at home in Week 5, and the Hawkeyes are headed to their second loss on the season. The Hawkeyes were mounting one comeback attempt in the fourth quarter, but it came crashing down in disastrous fashion.

After rolling all the way down the field while trailing 20-7, Iowa faced a 4th-and-2 play. Converting would have given the Hawkeyes a chance to make it a one-score game and given some life to the Iowa sideline.

Unfortunately, the fourth down play proved to be a one-yard out route. Even with the pass getting completed, it left the Hawkeyes short of the line to gain.

Iowa was even called for offensive pass interference on the play, but the penalty would not have mattered.

The Hawkeyes were trolled hard for the result of that play and for even calling a pass play that was short of the first-down marker on such a critical play.
