Social Media praises Stetson Bennett, Georgia for incredible start against TCU

Stetson Bennett is getting it done through the air and with his legs. Georgia, partially as a result, is thriving early against the Horned Frogs, leading 38-7 heading into halftime.

The former walk-on turned National Champion has dominated to start the College Football Playoff National Championship game against No. 3 TCU. Bennett has accounted for 4 touchdowns for the Bulldogs, 2 passing and 2 rushing.

It doesn’t help that TCU has looked totally outmatched in every facet of the game. The Horned Frogs are struggling to move the ball and have no answer for Bennett or star tight end Brock Bowers through the first 2 quarters. Bennett, by extension, looks well on his way to earning championship ring No. 2.

Defensively, Georgia has faltered just once. TCU was able to score after the Bulldogs took a 10-0 lead following their first 2 possessions. Since then, it’s been lights out.

Social media reacted to Georgia’s hot start Monday afternoon. All that’s left for Bennett and the Bulldogs to do is ride their big lead to victory.
