Jase Richardson, the son of former Michigan State star Jason Richardson, whittled his offer list to 8 Tuesday evening, including the Spartans.
Richardson, who currently attends Bishop Gorman in Las Vegas, is a top 50 prospect in the Class of 2024 and one of the top point guards avaliable in the cycle. Michigan State is the only current B1G team listed.
Also under consideration for Richardson are Alabama, Arkansas, Cincinnati, San Diego State, Stanford, USC and Virginia.

Richardson stands at 6-2 and has the ability to run point or occupy the 2-spot on the floor. He’s rated as the No. 46 prospect in the nation and the No. 9 overall point guard avaliable.
Alongside the family connection, Richardson has also visited East Lansing in the past year, holding an official visit with the Spartans in October of 2022.
Michigan State’s recruiting class for 2024 is shaping up well, though Richardson could be the top prospect in the class should he commit. The Spartans have already earned commitment from 4-star shooting guard Kur Teng and 3-star center Jesse McCulloch.
