Spencer Brown will finish his career in the SEC after 5 seasons at Michigan State. The Spartan transfer lineman has committed to play for Oklahoma. He chose the Sooners over Ole Miss, USC and others.

From Canton, Michigan, Brown signed with Michigan State out of Walled Lake Western as a member of the 2019 recruiting class. The NCAA’s COVID-19 waiver for the 2020 season allows him to play in 2024 as a 6th-year redshirt super senior.

Brown redshirted in 2019, his first season in East Lansing. In the shortened 2020 season, he made his college debut against Ohio State, logging 6 snaps.

In 2021, Brown logged some meaningful playing time, earning his first letter. He became the starting right tackle in the Peach Bowl win over Pittsburgh, logging 89 of his 155 snaps on the season.

Brown appeared in all of the Spartans’ games over the past 2 seasons. He is listed at 6-6, 315 pounds on the MSU roster for 2023.
