Spencer Lee is in Ann Arbor and looking to wrestle his way to a B1G championship. So far, Lee’s quest is off to a flying start, and he is already through to Saturday night’s semifinal action.

In the quarterfinals, Lee faced Michigan’s Jack Medley. Lee was once again on fire, dialing up a tech fall that resulted in a 17-0 decision vs. Medley.

The victory runs Lee’s unbeaten streak to 53 matches with the semifinal action to come Saturday evening. At 125 pounds, Lee will face Minnesota’s Patrick McKee in one semifinal. Northwestern’s Michael DeAugustino will face Nebraska’s Liam Cronin in the other.

With Session I complete, Iowa is also tied atop the team standings with Penn State at 63.5 points. Minnesota is currently a distant 3rd at 51.5 points.

Session II gets started at 5:30 pm ET with consolation matches and wrestlebacks. The semifinals in Session II are set for 7:30 pm ET and will be broadcast by the Big Ten Network.
