Michigan is welcoming some big-time names to its spring game on Saturday.

Earlier in the week, head coach Jim Harbaugh announced that former NFL quarterback Colin Kaepernick would serve as the honorary captain for Saturday’s event in Ann Arbor. He will also go through some throwing drills during halftime with some of recent NFL Draft-eligible players.

Kaepernick isn’t the only big name in Ann Arbor on Saturday. Angelique Chengelis reported that film director Spike Lee is also in attendance for the spring game. He’s directing a documentary for ESPN on Kaepernick.

In addition to Kaepernick and Lee, former Michigan tight end Jake Butt is occupying the Big Ten Network broadcast booth for Saturday’s game. So, even though it’s a scrimmage, there will be plenty of familiar faces inside The Big House this weekend.

Michigan’s spring game is scheduled for a 12 p.m. ET start.
