Sporting News’ All-America teams loaded with B1G talent

With the college basketball regular season in the books, postseason honors are beginning to trickle out. On Monday, Sporting News released its selections for the All-American teams.

Mike DeCourcy published his first-, second-, and third-team picks for the All-America teams this year for Sporting News. There were several B1G players who were included on the three squads.

The B1G made up most of the first-team selections, with three players making the cut. The conference then had one player named to the second-team and another to the third-team.

Here’s a look at the B1G players to make one of the three teams this year:

First-Team All-American

Johnny Davis, Wisconsin

Keegan Murray, Iowa

Kofi Cockburn, Illinois

Second-Team All-American

Jaden Ivey, Purdue

Third-Team All-American

EJ Liddell, Ohio State
