The B1G is loaded with preseason All-Americans.
Wednesday, Sporting News revealed its first- and second-team preseason All-American selections for the 2019 season, and 11 players from the B1G were included. Seven players earned first-team honors (four defensive, three offensive) and four more landed on the second-team (two offensive, two defensive).
According to Sporting News, the defensive line will be a particular area of strength for the B1G come the fall. Three of the conference’s four first-team defensive selections are along the defensive front.

- RB: Jonathan Taylor, Wisconsin
- OC: Tyler Biadasz, Wisconsin
- ATH: Rondale Moore, Purdue
First-Team Defense
- DL: A.J. Epenesa, Iowa
- DL: Kenny Willekes, Michigan State
- DL: Chase Young, Ohio State
- LB: Paddy Fisher, Northwestern
Second-Team Offense
- RB: J.K. Dobbins, Ohio State
- OG: Ben Bredeson, Michigan
Second-Team Defense
- LB: Joe Bachie, Michigan State
- CB: Lavert Hill, Michigan
