One reporter for the Sports Business Journal believes that the B1G could leave their deal with ESPN in the near future.
The B1G could leave ESPN for a new deal with Fox and CBS in 2022 per John Ourand of Sports Business Journal. Fox already owns 51% of Big Ten Network, and could start looking to own more in the future according to Ourand.
He posted his 2022 sports media predictions on his Twitter account on Tuesday.

If the B1G does end up leaving ESPN for Fox/CBS, the Ourand believes that the SEC leave its deal with CBS and try to get the ESPN package early. His other predictions included ESPN renewing Formula One, and MLS signing with ESPN/Warner Media.
The sports media world could be in for some changes coming in 2022.
