Last weekend is going to be difficult to top. Of the five B1G games played, all were decided by one possession. It was the most entertaining Saturday in the conference to date.

But this week does provide us with Rivalry Week Light in the B1G. There are three rivalry showdowns on tap this weekend: Wisconsin vs. Nebraska (Freedom Trophy); Michigan State vs. Michigan (Paul Bunyan Trophy); and Minnesota vs. Iowa (Floyd of Rosedale). There should be plenty of intrigue.

Before we jump into the Week 12 picks, here’s how we fared last week, as well as the overall standings:

  • Paul Harvey: 4-1 (49-34)
  • Dustin Schutte: 5-0 (48-35)
  • Connor O’Gara: 3-2 (45-38)
  • Kevin Cunningham: 1-4 (38-44)

A total of six B1G games are on the schedule, with five being league matchups while Northwestern steps out of conference play to host UMass. Three teams have an off week.

Here are our picks for the first round of Rivalry Week in the B1G:
