George Kittle will be back on the field for the 49ers this week.

Per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, San Francisco head coach Kyle Shanahan announced that Kittle will be activated for this weekend’s game against Arizona. The tight end had been placed on injured reserve in Week 5 due to a calf injury.

Kittle has played in 4 games for the 49ers this season, totaling 19 receptions for 227 yards. He has not hit the end zone yet this year.

San Francisco heads into Sunday’s game with a 3-4 record. The lost the first matchup against Arizona 17-10 back on Oct. 10.

The 49ers are coming off a 33-22 victory over the Bears on Halloween. That snapped a 2-game skid, dropping contests to the Cardinals and Colts.

Kickoff between San Francisco and Arizona is set for 4:25 p.m. ET and the game will air on FOX.
