Stefon Diggs receives conflicting reports regarding status at Buffalo Bills minicamp

Stefon Diggs has been the leading receiver for the Buffalo Bills since joining the franchise ahead of the 2020 season. Gearing up for another key role in 2023, Diggs is currently at the center of a confusing story surrounding Buffalo’s minicamp.
With the Bills beginning mandatory minicamp, head coach Sean McDermott noted Diggs was not in attendance. McDermott went on to claim he was “very concerned” and noted the absence was not an excused one by the team.
While the absence itself is noteworthy, another layer was added with a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter. Schefter cited Diggs’ agent — Adisa Bakari — who said that Diggs is in Buffalo since Monday morning. Additionally, Bakari claimed Diggs was at the team facility for a physical Monday morning, met with the head coach (McDermott) and the GM and will be at minicamp for the entirety of the event.

Stefon Diggs’ agent, Adisa Bakari, said his client is in Buffalo, has been in Buffalo since yesterday morning, took his physical, met with the head coach and GM the past two days and the Pro-Bowl WR “will be there for the entirety of the minicamp.”

We’ll see how this story shapes up, but it is confusing, to say the least. Hopefully, it is just a bump on the road because any issues between Diggs and Buffalo’s offense would be of concern. He has produced over 4,100 yards and 29 touchdowns in 3 seasons with the Bills, including a First-Team All-Pro nod in 2020.
