Sua Lefotu, 2023 DL from California, announces B1G commitment

Sua Lefotu is heading east to play in the Big Ten. The defensive lineman out of California has committed to play for Matt Rhule’s Nebraska program.
Lefotu shared the big news on social media.

From Bellflower, California, Lefotu is listed at 6-4, 285 pounds. The St. John Bosco standout is rated 3-stars, the No. 119 California product, No. 144 defensive lineman and No. 1,322 prospect overall nationally in the 2023 recruiting class on the 247Sports Composite.
Lefotu was committed to the Washington Huskies last year from June 26 to Nov. 2. Since his decommitment, he picked up new offers from Washington State, Hawaii, Arizona State, Tennessee, Indiana and Nebraska.

Lefotu is the fourth unsigned high school commitment in Nebraska’s 2023 class. National Signing Day is scheduled for Wednesday Feb. 1. The Huskers signed 23 players in December and have added 11 players from the transfer portal. Lefotu’s senior highlights can be viewed below, via Hudl:
