Washington, senior at Wylie East, had been committed to playing for the Boilermakers since June of this year and is now re-opening his recruitment for the 2023 football season.
He is ranked as No. 65 in the nation at running back and No. 157 in the state of Texas as a senior recruit.
“I would like to thank God, for blessing me continuously, Washington wrote on Twitter. I would like to thank my family, friends, teammates and coaches who have been supportive throughout this entire process. In light of recent changes at Purdue University, I have decided to de-commit and reopen my recruitment. This journey has shown me that change is inevitable.”
So we will see what happens with this talented RB and where he ends up next fall.
