Tampa Bay Buccaneers rookie tight end Ko Kieft is an old school football star in a new school system. At least that’s how Buccaneers coach Todd Bowles views him.
During a recent interview, Bowles was asked about how the former Minnesota weapon was best used on offense. Bowles simply said that players like Kieft are versatile enough to play anywhere.
“He can fullback, tight end, he can play the “F” or the “U” position as well,” Bowles said. “He does a lot of things for us. He’s going on special teams. He can catch the ball for us, too, you just haven’t seen his receiving skills yet. He’s a hard-nosed tough guy that comes to work every day and tries to get better.”
"He's an old school football player."
