Chris Godwin is putting together another strong season, eclipsing 1,000 yards receiving for the 2nd time in his NFL career.
Entering Tampa Bay’s Sunday Night Football game vs. the New Orleans Saints, Godwin leads the Buccaneers in catches (92) and receiving yardage (1,054). Godwin has already set a new career-high in catches and is closing in on the career-best 1,333 receiving yards he posted during the 2019 season.
Unfortunately, Godwin took a nasty hit in the 2nd quarter against the Saints and it has yet to be announced if he will return to action. Coming on a crossing route, Godwin was hit low around the knee on a hit from Saints DB PJ Williams.

Godwin stayed down for a while but was able to leave the field under his own power. He has since emerged from the injury tent but Tampa Bay has officially listed him as questionable to return.
