Tanner Mordecai is producing a strong Week 3 performance after Wisconsin fell on the road in Week 2. With the Badger defense producing some clutch takeaways, Mordecai and the offense have responded in the second half.

With a third-quarter run, Mordecai put Wisconsin back on top of Georgia Southern by a score of 21-14. Mordecai’s run came from 18 yards out and involved some nifty scrambling and moves to hit the end zone.

Georgia Southern has shown up ready to play in Madison and has delivered a number of counterpunches to the Badgers. Fortunately, the defense has produced 5 interceptions (so far) with Mordecai able to cash in a couple of those takeaways.

Wisconsin will probably look to grind the clock down a bit with possessions moving forward while the ground game is picking up steam in the second half. After a limited performance a week ago, star running back Braelon Allen is closing in on 100 yards rushing against the Eagles.
