Tanner Morgan put up impressive numbers at the Hula Bowl Saturday afternoon, completing 5 of his 8 passes for 94 yards, leading 2 scoring drives in a 16-13 Team Kai win. By many accounts, Morgan was the most complete player on the field in the end-of-year all-star game.
Morgan used his final year of eligibility this past season for the Golden Gophers and went out in style, leading Minnesota to a Pinstripe Bowl win over Syracuse.
Hats off to Tanner Morgan who played in the @Hu la_Bowl today. He was 5-of-8 for 94 yards and led two scoring drives for the victorious Team Kai. He was in victory formation at the end of the game and handed the ball to the official when it was over. 📸 @usatodaysports pic.twitter.com/rMqVkd9d2A

This was one of his best throws on the day, a bomb to San Jose St. receiver Elijah Cooks halfway through the 2nd quarter, absorbing a hit in the process.
