Taulia Tagovailoa and Maryland are still going toe-to-toe with Ohio State in search of the program’s first-ever win against the Buckeyes. After a 10-all tie at halftime, Tagovailoa led a huge drive to open the third quarter as the Terps retook the lead.
The drive included big completions from Tagovailoa to Tai Felton and Jeshaun Jones. The play to Jones was a beautiful back-shoulder throw that went for 23 yards.
Tagovailoa also added a couple of scrambling runs throughout the drive, including the touchdown from 9 yards out. It gives the QB at least 1 rushing and passing touchdown in a game for the 11th time.

Maryland’s defense will also need to make some big plays in this game, but Tagovailoa is doing his part to shrug off some early mistakes in this one.
