Taulia Tagovailoa’s status for the Maryland-Michigan State game is up in the air, but the Terrapins standout quarterback is at least on the football field this week.
Tagovailoa is practicing, which is an encouraging sign for the Terrapins. Wesley Brown of 247Sports shared video of Tagovailoa throwing at Maryland’s Tuesday practice.

Earlier Tuesday, Maryland coach Mike Locksley called Tagovailoa a gameday decision for Saturday’s conference clash with Michigan State. This season, Tagovailoa has been one of the top signal-callers in the conference, posting a 75.6 completion percentage while throwing for 1,110 yards.
Tagovailoa exited the Michigan game Saturday with a rib injury but later returned.
