Russell Wilson continues to have a disastrous first season with the Denver Broncos. The former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback led another terrible offensive for Denver as the Broncos went on the road in Week 12 to loss to the Carolina Panthers.

During the game, Broncos defensive lineman Mike Purcell went to Wilson to have some words. It is unknown what Purcell told Wilson, but he looked furious as the defense was doing all it could to hold the Panthers’ offense.

Denver only accumulated 246 total yards of offense against Carolina. Wilson finished the game completing 19-of-35 of his passes for 142 yards, 1 touchdown, and a quarterback rating of 73.8. This is Wilson’s fourth-worst game this season in terms of passer rating accounted for, according to ESPN. The Broncos later fell to Carolina, 23-10.

The Broncos came into the 2022 NFL season with expectations of a playoff appearance and contending for a Super Bowl. Denver proceeds to an overall record of 3-8 as its playoff hopes are all but eliminated.
