Tennessee fans starting to panic following Joe Milton’s second-quarter struggles

Joe Milton’s Thursday evening started out strong, but those good feelings did not last for long.
During the first half of his first start at Tennessee, Milton was on fire early. He led the Volunteers to 14 points in the first quarter, including a rushing touchdown of his own. That marked the first points of the Josh Heupel era in Knoxville.
Unfortunately, the offense stalled out in the second quarter. Bowling Green’s defense did enough to squash out a couple of Tennessee drives with the Vols entering the half at just a 14-6 lead.
Michigan fans might be well aware of the inconsistencies experienced with Milton under center, but it is the first time the Tennessee faithful are experiencing it for themselves. After the dreadful second quarter, some Vols fans are starting to hit the panic button a bit.

Joe Milton had a solid first two drives and looked good. Since then he has shown that he cannot anticipate throws and has horrible pocket presence. Gonna be another long year as a Tennessee fan

Joe Milton still can’t make reads or make good decisions. Sad.

Joe Milton takes more time in the pocket than he does to get lined up & snap it.
