No. 6 Tennessee got a huge upset at home over SEC cross-divisional rival No. 3 Alabama, but now the university has to pay in multiple ways. Tennessee shared a post on Twitter for a tab to help pay for the replacement of the goalposts after the originals were torn down and thrown in the Tennessee River.
Y'all remember how we tore the goalposts down, hauled em out of Neyland and dumped em in the Tennessee River?
Yeah that was awesome.
Anywho, turns out that in order to play next week's game, we need goalposts on our field. Could y'all help us out? 🙏 https://t.co/NSMoL3SzPX

The University of Tennessee also expects to be fined by the SEC $50,000 for having fans storm the field after the win over Alabama.
“Not sure how you want to celebrate the Vols victory? Check out these ways to show your Big Orange love,” the Vols’ message to fans read while providing some pre-filled options for suggested donation amounts.
