Hassan Haskins is looking to get off to a hot start to his NFL career. If Derrick Henry’s initial assessment is any indication, Haskins should be just fine.

Meeting with the media on Tuesday, Henry praised what he has seen out of the Michigan product. According to Henry, Haskins is “a beast” and has seen everything “is coming naturally” to the rookie.

“I was excited when we got him,” Henry said. “Hassan’s a beast. I actually got to catch The Game against Ohio State when he went off. Seeing him in person, he’s a big dude, he’s a solid dude. I can tell everything is coming naturally to him.”

While Henry is an All-Pro back and is entrenched as the No. 1 option for the Titans, Haskins will try to carve out a role as his primary backup. Henry was limited to 8 games due to injury in 2021, so it will be interesting to see if Tennessee looks to Haskins to help take some of the pressure off.
