Terry Lockett Jr. has transferred, but he isn’t going very far. The former Michigan State WR announced that he will be headed an hour southeast to play for Eastern Michigan.
Lockett posted the news on Twitter on Thursday, alongside a picture of himself in the Eagles uniform with the word “committed.”

Lockett lands at Eastern Michigan after spending the last two years in East Lansing. He originally joined the Spartans as a three-star recruit in the class of 2020. The WR chose the Spartans over offers from several other schools, including Iowa, Minnesota, and Nebraska.
As a Spartan, Lockett has played in 15 games, and has 4 catches for 22 yards. In 2021, the WR played in nine games, collecting three catches for 17 yards while playing 49 total offensive snaps. Lockett did not see any game action in 2022. Lockett left the team and was removed from the Spartans roster in early October, but has just now found a new home.
