Tunmise Adeleye could be headed to the B1G in 2023.

The former Texas A&M defensive end is set to visit Michigan State on Dec. 9-11. Adeleye entered the transfer portal after 2 seasons in College Station.

A former 4-star recruit and top-40 talent during the 2021 cycle, Adeleye redshirted in 2021 and played in 2 games for the Aggies this past fall. He recorded 6 total tackles and 1/2 a sack during Texas A&M’s lackluster season. He will have 3 years of eligibility remaining at his next school.

Adeleye has been vocal of keeping fans involved on where he’ll play next season via his Twitter account. So far, the Katy (TX) native has received offers from Missouri, Arkansas, TCU, Cal, SMU, and Colorado. The Buffaloes could be an intriguing option as former Texas A&M defensive analyst Nick Williams was hired by new coach Deion Sanders to take over as the new defensive line coach.

Michigan State could use a burst coming off the edge after lacking a consistent pass rush this past fall. The Spartans finished 6th among B1G programs in sacks with 29, and ranked 41st nationally. Jacoby Windmon recorded a team-high 5.5, but 4 came in the season-opening win against Western Michigan. Simeon Barrow and Aaron Brule each recorded 4 sacks, while 11 other Spartans tallied 3 or fewer.

The Spartans finished 5-7 under 3rd-year coach Mel Tucker and will not play in a bowl game later this month.
