Michigan State isn’t quite done putting together its 2020 recruiting class.

Wednesday night, the Spartans landed a commitment from three-star running back Donovan Eaglin, a native of Manvel, Texas. He joined Michigan State’s class with just one week left until the signing day, which is set for Wednesday, Feb. 5.

Eaglin made his announcement official by sending out a tweet.

Eaglin, a 5-foot-11, 215-pound back, is a three-star prospect according to 247Sports. He ranks as one of the top 100 running backs in the 2020 recruiting cycle, and picked Michigan State over offers from Eastern Illinois and Lamar.

Michigan State now has 22 members in its 2020 class, 19 of which are already enrolled or have signed their National Letter of Intent. Eaglin is the second running back to commit to Mark Dantonio and company, joining Jordan Simmons, a three-star ball carrier out of Powder Springs, Georgia.

With Eaglin’s commitment, Michigan State ranks 11th in the B1G and 42nd nationally with this recruiting class.
