The B1G volleyball season is beginning a little later than usual this academic year, but a fun conference matchup is scheduled to get things rolling in 2021.

Friday night, the first volleyball game airing on Big Ten Network of the season will feature No. 13 Purdue taking on No. 1 Wisconsin. The two squads will begin the match at 6:30 p.m. ET on Friday. The Boilermakers and Badgers will then play again on Saturday at 9 p.m. ET.

Both matches will air on BTN.

Purdue ended the 2019 volleyball season with a 24-8 record and finished 14-6 in B1G play. The Boilermakers appeared in the NCAA Tournament and defeated Wright State and Marquette before falling to Baylor in the Sweet Sixteen.

Wisconsin closed out last season with 27-7 record on the year and was an impressive 18-2 in conference competition. The Badgers competed for the national championship before falling 3-0 to Stanford.

Friday’s match is the first of 39 volleyball contests Big Ten Network is airing in 2021.
