There are plenty of things college football coaches don’t wish to see from their team. Committing penalties is right near the top.

Teams are bound to be penalized throughout the course of the season. But cutting down on those fouls and limiting mental mistakes can often times be the difference between a win or a loss, or maybe a few wins and a few losses.

Now that we’re essentially right in the middle of the college football season, why not take a look at the penalty situation in the B1G. We’ve decided to break down how disciplined each team has been this season. A few coaches may want to look away.

We’ve provided the penalty numbers for the 2018 season, along with the B1G rank, for each team.
