Purdue announced on Friday that renovations will be coming for Ross-Ade Stadium. The details about the upgrades are now available from purduesports.com
The 1st phase of upgrades include a new team entrance tunnel, a new student-athlete nutrition/dining facility where the current team store is, and a concourse connector adjoining additional seating in the south end zone. Purdue is granting $45.4 million towards these renovations that are scheduled to take place in November, and end in August of 2023.
A lot of people at Purdue are excited about the news, including head coach Jeff Brohm. He was just given a contract extension that keeps him in West Lafayette until 2027.
Here’s what the Boilermakers head coach had to say about the upgrades that are coming:
“These renovations will make a huge difference for our student-athletes and enhance the overall fan experience at Ross-Ade,” said Brohm. “We are grateful to our fans, donors, the Board of Trustees, Mike Bobinski and President Daniels for their commitment to the growth and success of Purdue Football. This project will have a positive impact on our program for years to come.”
