The Power Rank predicts outcome of B1G Bowl Season, CFP semifinals

The bowl season is underway and there are plenty of exciting matchups ahead, including B1G champion Michigan facing off with Georgia in the semifinals of the College Football Playoff.
The Power Rank system produced by Dr. Ed Feng predicted the outcome of every game this bowl season. Here’s what that system expects to happen for every B1G matchup, as well as the CFP semifinals:
Georgia (1) will beat Michigan (3) by 4.1 at a neutral site. Michigan has a 38% chance of beating Georgia.
Alabama (2) will beat Cincinnati (5) by 4.7 at a neutral site. Cincinnati has a 36% chance of beating Alabama.
Ohio State (4) will beat Utah (6) by 4.1 at a neutral site. Utah has a 38% chance of beating Ohio State.
Penn State (11) will beat Arkansas (14) by 1.5 at a neutral site. Arkansas has a 46% chance of beating Penn State.
Pittsburgh (12) will beat Michigan State (16) by 2.0 at a neutral site. Michigan State has a 44% chance of beating Pittsburgh.
Wisconsin (24) will beat Arizona State (37) by 2.4 at a neutral site. Arizona State has a 43% chance of beating Wisconsin.
Kentucky (25) will beat Iowa (39) by 2.6 at a neutral site. Iowa has a 42% chance of beating Kentucky.
Purdue (31) will beat Tennessee (44) by 1.8 at a neutral site. Tennessee has a 45% chance of beating Purdue.
Minnesota (33) will beat West Virginia (60) by 6.1 at a neutral site. West Virginia has a 32% chance of beating Minnesota.
Virginia Tech (64) will beat Maryland (90) by 5.5 at a neutral site. Maryland has a 34% chance of beating Virginia Tech.
Michigan is 12-1 overall and easily handled Iowa 42-3 in the B1G title game. The Wolverines are seeking their first national title since 1997. The all-time series is tied 1-1 between Michigan and Georgia. This is the first meeting between the programs since 1965.
