The final weekend of the B1G regular season is almost here.

The slate will be without a couple of rivalry games (Ohio State-Michigan and Indiana-Purdue) due to COVID-19 concerns.

However, there’s still an exciting slate for fans to look forward to, anchored by No. 16 Iowa (5-2) hosting Wisconsin (2-2) on Saturday (2:30 p.m. CST/FS1).

Iowa is on a five-game winning streak after dropping its first two games of the season.
The Power Rank’s Ed Fang has released his model’s predictions for this weekend’s games. The cancelled games are also included to give a view of what was expected:

  • Wisconsin at Iowa.
Iowa (8) will beat Wisconsin (9) by 1.5 at home. Wisconsin has a 46% chance of beating Iowa.
  • Minnesota at Nebraska.
Minnesota (33) will beat Nebraska (41) by 1.1 on the road. Nebraska has a 47% chance of beating Minnesota.
  • Michigan at Ohio State.
Ohio State (2) will beat Michigan (19) by 22.2 at home. Michigan has a 7% chance of beating Ohio State.
  • Purdue at Indiana.
Indiana (13) will beat Purdue (46) by 12.8 at home. Purdue has a 18% chance of beating Indiana.
  • Michigan State at Penn State.
Penn State (14) will beat Michigan State (60) by 14.0 at home. Michigan State has a 16% chance of beating Penn State.
  • Illinois at Northwestern.
Northwestern (32) will beat Illinois (72) by 8.9 at home. Illinois has a 26% chance of beating Northwestern.
  • Rutgers at Maryland.
Maryland (84) will beat Rutgers (77) by 0.1 at home. Rutgers has a 50% chance of beating Maryland.

Here’s an explanation of the process taken for the projections above:

“The Power Rank uses data and analytics to make accurate predictions for football and March Madness. I developed these methods based on my PhD in applied math from Stanford.”
